    Hi community and Insiders,
    I’ve been testing the recent update that refreshed the achievement notifications, and while it looks smoother, it left me questioning something. Am I the only one who feels that despite the visual polish, all normal achievements still feel psychologically identical when they pop up?

    I started reminiscing about why older notifications felt so rewarding. On Xbox 360, the pop-up actually displayed the unique, custom miniature art designed by the developers for that specific milestone. Since Xbox One shifted to 1080p backgrounds, the notification was simplified to just show the generic "G" icon (or a diamond for rare ones).

    Why did Xbox phase out unique achievement art in the overlay? Even with the updated UI, because the center logo is always the same, we lost that instant dopamine hit and visual identity that made each feat stand out.

    Could the engineers technically render a low-res thumbnail of the actual achievement art inside the new notification box instead of the generic "G"?

    I really want to know if the community misses this feature, or if there's a specific technical constraint in the OS architecture keeping Xbox from bringing back unique achievement art to our screens. What are your thoughts?

    Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having. When did you start noticing that you're not receiving notifications on your console? Are you still being notified for Achievements, or other local notices, or is it just for social notifications (Parties,
    messages, etc)?

    Same issue here, achievement notifications are not showing, also noticed that "Notifications" is missing in the Game Bar menu (when u click the gear icon) on the latest update.

    I played Valiant Hearts this morning and got 5 achievements but none of them showed up as notifications when playing the game. Tried NHL 15, same thing. Got the achievement but no notification for it. Noticed that my Gamerscore went up, that's how I found
    out that I got the achievements. Anyone else having the same issues?

    This just started happening today after the latest update. Before I always received the achievement notification popup instantly.
