Did anyone else get suspended for no reason at all

http://enforcement.xbox.com Investigations do take time, so both suspensions could be for actions that took place weeks or months ago.

Your friend did not get suspended for no reason.

He could of been suspended for something he did months ago.

If a case review was filed & upheld then there's nothing else that can be done,he will have to wait out the suspension.

The reason your account is suspended is not to punish you...it is to keep anyone else from taking it! If it is left wide open, then someone else could gain UA to it, then they could give it to another person, who then gives it to someone else...and so on.
Then the investigations team has much more work to do to be able to track down whoever did this.

Suspension can take time to process, so it maybe several days since the incident took place as they review the case, chat and voice.
