Diablo 4 VOH shutting down xbox series x after less than 5 minutes of game play.

If it's a black screen shutdown, this is due to some kind of catastrophic error that sends the machine into protect mode. If they can't give you a solution I suggest you exchange it.

I am not sure its a black screen shut down. Before it shuts down I can see the game go back to the Diablo VOH screen that occurs when the character is about to enter the game. It says something like "having been idle for too long" Then shuts down. Upon restart all is fine.

So the game is doing removing me from the game prior to shutdown so it doesn't seem like a protect mode thing.

My xbox series x is crashing when playing Anny game is started op it freezes after 2 minutes and shuts down can you tell when there will be a fix update for this best regards theis

Seems to be an issue many others have had.

Loading up any game will cause the xbox to shut down and restart. Its random but within 5 minutes of playing.

•I've tried the following:

Clearing the cache.

•Wiping my account (or unenrolling)

•Hard reset.

Even tried uninstalling the games several times.

Hello everyone, I did a lot of search and this is my opinion according to latest comments.

In Gearsofwar forum, some people say they changed their xbox and got new from Microsoft and the problem is still happening. Even a person changed his xbox 3 times and Gears 5 is still shutsdown the xbox series x. Now they are saying; Probably its a rare software problem like NBA2K22 had. It was the same issue but Gears 5 didnt get a patch for shutdowns but NBA2K22 get a patch for shuts down.

If its a hardware problem like overheating xbox should shutdown in other games and FarCry 6 too but xbox is shuts down only in Gears 5 and Gears: Tactics and Gears: tactics is not even heating the console, its just a turn based strategy game. (BUT: Those who has shuts down in other games must send their console to Microsoft for replacement)

And they are saying if its hardware why xbox is not shutting down in other games and even like FarCry 6 with good graphics but xbox shuts down even only Gears: Tactics its the game from same developer who made Gears5.

Right now no one can agree if its hardware or software. but these situations points to its probably a rare and complicated glitch in the System OS and the Game. But right now they think its a software problem with a strange glitch.

So, I will not rush and not gonna send my xbox because its only crashing Gears games. Games that has much more graphics than Gears 5 is fine, if xbox starts to crush on the other games then thats mean there is problem on hardware. And i am playing games like more than 5-6 hours xbox is just fine.

So, Officially no one can give me a Guarantee its a hardware problem. What will happen if i send my clean xbox and get refurbished xbox and then Gears shut down again like the other people in gearsofwar forum?. I'll be left with refurbished xbox.

Some people's xbox shuts down 20-30min, Some peopl'e never. In my case i had only in Chapter 4 before that chapters i played the gears 5 very long hours. If it was hardware xbox should shut down in other chapters too. And someone said exact same thing like me, He had crash after desert mission, he mean Chapter 4.
