    Devices wont show up after being registered


    I am trying to register my Xbox elite series 2 controller through the Microsoft site to check the warranty. I am going into my account, then to devices, and then clicking "register device" in the upper right-hand corner. Then I am clicking "register a new device" and then putting in the controller's serial number that is on the back into the 'enter serial number." After doing this it pops up "Your device has been added." After this, though, it is not popping up under my devices. I have tried to do this several times, tried reloading the page, waited an hour before trying again, and trying on a new device all to no use. How do I fix this?

    Hi, Garret! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble registering your Xbox Elite controller. No worries, I'm happy to assist you with this today.

    Please try to use another internet browser like Incognito (Chrome) or InPrivate Browsing(MS Edge). Then check if that will work.

    If not, I would suggest trying these steps and see if you can reach the Xbox customer support for them to further check or investigate your account.

    Please go to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us

    Then click on "Contact us" > Hardware and Network> Then choose My controller isn't working right> Then select Xbox Series X> Type Register controller > Click Next> Click on See contact options> Select from there, it should show you the option to chat with them or request a call.

    Registered Devices Not Showing

    So, I just tested this to see:

    I registered my Series X controller.

    Sure enough, it said it was registered but wasn't showing up

    I then clicked "see details" on my Series X entry which took me to my Series X

    I then clicked "All Devices" to take me back to the previous screen and the controller then showed up.

    So, not entirely sure why it won't work for you

    I have tried with all of the normal suggest to register my previously owned xbox 360. Microsoft says that it's successful in registering, but it doesn't show up in my devices list. This then stops me from being able to change the parental code, of which
    I don't know what it is.
