    im trying to develop a new game in xbox live.

    part of the app is a chat for text and voice conversation between users.

    is it possible to develop my own chat or do i have to use xbox api for it?

    what does the big gaming companies like minecraft and roblox do?

    Microsoft have always policed xbox live,this is nothing new.

    If it's a game specific ban/suspension then you would need to contact the games developers.

    Hello there Cowboy484848!

    When it comes down to exploiting a game that falls under both the developers, and Xbox live. Report the live account, and the account through the game. It seems that lately older games have been getting hacked. The developers are focusing on new games, so
    they don't spend much time with the older ones. If you can get a few of your friends to report the person as well if they are in the game, then that will better the chances of them being caught.

    Xbox live support really cannot do to much with exploiters on games since it does fall more under the developers.

    We Want Oddworld on XBLA

    I want a new Oddworld.

    The size limitation is NOT keeping Strangers Wrath from getting on Xbox Live. The developer can easily work around it just like several other developers have done. Put it on the marketplace as a games on demand title instead. Just like Capcom did with the
    Resident Evil HD releases and what EA did with the Crysis release. The size limitation isn't holding any developer back unless they are blind.The reason the release isn't on Xbox Live is entirely on the developer.

    Still doesn't change the fact that a new Oddworld would be better than remakes.
