Developer Portal Link not working

Hello,

I activated developer mode more than an hour and have not been able to access the Device Portal in order to deploy applications/games

Getting this out of the way now so I don’t get the same response I’ve seen 30 times:

I am connected to the internet, and able to browse the internet via Edge while in dev mode

I can see the Device Portal’s IP Address

I have Device Portal enabled

I’ve tried both the IP address and https://XBOX:11443 (and XBOXONE:11443)

So I’m not sure what the problem is.

Whenever I type https://XBOX(one):11443 I get an almost instant ‘Can't reach this page, when using the IP, it just infinitely hangs.

If I type the IP in Edge on the console itself, I can actually enter the device portal, however it is of no use since I cannot access any local files.

I’m not sure why it’s not working, but please fix the link for me. I am half way done but am stuck due to the link not working.

The developers are aware of the issues in Minecraft. Such as portal not working. Game not auto saving and random kicks. They have said they are working on it. but they have yet to give us a date of the patch.

Hi there!

For our workaround, when it's connected to the Wi-Fi, launch the Microsoft Edge browser and manually open the link or portal from there. That should work.

Hypnotic is correct but the Y coordinate doesn't matter. It'll still link the 2 portals no matter where the 2 portals are made.

You should contact Capcom then, because they are the ones with the information on the delay. Certification doesn't talk to the public, or us for that matter, and they don't read this site. The developer always has the most up to date information about patches and updates.
