    Edit: Ik this may not be the right subreddit but there isn’t one for dev mode. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but when I activated developer mode on my Xbox one, everything seemed to be working fine. But when I got into the developer menu, the Xbox live status said “unknown” so I connected it to my internet and now it just says “limited” I have game pass ultimate and I have Xbox live but idk why it’s saying “limited” and I can’t for the life of me find anyone else who has that problem. HELP?

    Hi,

    When in Developer Mode the console is no longer connected to Xbox Live and no official standard Xbox Live apps or games will function on the console while in this mode. Because of this limited functionality, there are no real limits on what can be run and therefor running RetroArch in dev mode would not be against the ToS.

    The idea of the Dev Mode is to run specially created software designed by yourself or third parties, applications like RetroArch would be no different here. You won't be banned.

    Running ROM's and game images via RetroArch is a legal grey area depending on how you obtain such content, but RetroArch itself is not illegal.

    You have no access to Xbox Live features as your game has not been accepted into ID@Xbox. If you’re working in Dev mode it has very limited access to features as well

    The bridge mode will disable the capability of performing NAT (Network Address Translation), which will be done by your Linksys E1200.

    The 100% packet loss is not affected by your networking set up, but the Xbox Live core services being limited.

    Sit tight until they've worked out a solution.
