    Dev mode on the Xbox Series X...


    I'm coming a cross a issue where you switch from dev mode to retail mode. The console just hangs on a black screen unless you hard reset it.

    Also losing Internet after restarting the console in retail mode.

    Who is it that I speak to about the Xbox having so many bugs in Dev mode?

    Which console are you trying to activate dev mode on? Are you using a console from Xbox One family or the Xbox Series X|S?

    If you're using an Xbox One, you have to perform this through the "Dev Mode Activation" app
    If you're using an Xbox Series X|S, you have to perform this through the "Xbox Dev Mode" app

    This is not helpful because it is the opposite problem. The Xbox turns back ON when you turn it off while still in dev mode. I have the same problem with Xbox Series X.

    There is no discless Series X.

    As long as your console is set as your home console then switch it to offline mode in the network settings & you can play your digital games offline as long as it's a game that doesn't require a online connection to play,,if it does then thats down to the devs,not Microsoft.
