Deux Ex Code with purchase misleading.

I have previously posted on here stating that I had not received my code for Deux Ex: Human Revolution after purchasing Deux Ex: Mankind Divided. I received a response from
Mister Beep stating "This promotion was exclusively for users who pre-ordered the game digitally on or before August 22nd 2016 (which is the day before release). Since you mentioned that the game was purchased on the release day of the game, we are unable
to provide tokens for Human Revolution and the Missing Link."

On the description for the game its clearly states "For a limited time, purchase Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on Xbox One and receive Deus Ex: Human Revolution and The Missing Link Add-on, playable now on Xbox 360 and Xbox One via Backward Compatibility."
. There is no mention anywhere that this offer is only valid until 22nd August , it just stated for a Limited Time!

Had I known this I would have not bought the game as I wanted the full story by playing Human Revolution first. I feel that I w\as mislead into buying this game from the promotion which no longer existed apparently but was still showing on the website and
which incidentaly was more expensive that other versions of this game, but bought this version because of the code for human Revolution.

Please reconsider the request and provide me the code for Deux Ex: Human Revolution.

I'd say September is the best month for Xbox 1.

August to december- for me.

Starting with Deux ex 4 and finishing with Steep.

Sincere apologies for any frustration this has caused! As stated before, this was a pre-order specific promotion, and the game description on the Xbox Store does not reflect this.

Could you link us to where you're seeing it mentioning the promotion? That would help us a bunch.

 

Hi, The description was on the Xbox Game Store at the time of purchase (23rd August) but is not there now when I look as it just shows (you own this), the game description was exactly the same as the link below though which is why I made the purchase as
it stated the promotion was still valid when I made my purchase.

Hi Mister Beep, although the link I sent you shows roughly the same game promotion description that appeared in the Xbox Game Store at the time I made the purchase of the game (time stamp on this as shown is August 22nd 2016, 9:28 PM PT), it does not mention
that the code would be sent out in 7 to 10 days after the purchase and would apear in the Messages box which is what I expected to see when I returned from vacation.

I strongly feel that I made an honest purchase of the game which clearly showed the promotion was still valid at the time and beleive I should be sent the code for Deux Ex: Human Revolution.
