    Destiny TTK: Digital Collectors Edition


    Submitted inquiry to XBOX One support regarding the missing code for the level 25 boost for Destiny: The Taken King - Digital Collector's Edition game. I was instructed to post here as I did not receive code at install or thereafter. Help is appreciated.

    Missing Destiny TTK Collectors Edition Digital Upgrade in package deal

    No no no no no, why wont it read!. Just look at the picture!

    Yes, I purchased the Legendary Edition. However it showed that it contained the upgrade when I purchased it. This was because of an error made by Xbox. This has been confirmed by Bungie. The upgrade has been removed from the deal afterwards so if you look
    at the package now it no longer shows it. Xbox Support (chat) also confirmed that I should receive the upgrade, since I bought the deal when it showed it contained the upgrade and I can prove this! (I posten a ref, but somebody removed it?).

    I also had a copy (disk) of Destiny with expansion I and II. But not TTK. The the gold deal came along. I checked out both deals in the Store. I could buy TTK + Collectors Edition Digital Upgrade or Destiny Legendary Edition (containing Destiny, CE, I, II,
    TTK + Collectors Edition Digital Upgrade). Only a small difference in the price so I purchased the second deal and sold my hard copy of Destiny. (I have two Xbox One consoles at home, so purchasing it digitaly was a plus) I would have bought the first deal
    if the second deal did not contain the Collectors Edition Digital Upgrade!

    Is Destiny worth it now?

    I think it is. I sold my ps4 and copy of destiny. Just rebought it for xbox one. I brought the TTK collectors edition digital. Got destiny, both expansions, TTK, the collectors goodies, and I still get year 1 goodies as well and can play now.

    Destiny is one of my favourite games. I have also found the xbox community better. I have an loads of help.

    Codes weren't sent out if you purchased the game digitally. You should have automatic access to the character boost in-game if you own the Digital Collector's Edition. If you purchased a physical copy of the game you'll need to reach out to the retailer.

    Destiny The Taken King for 360

    I purchased the TTK Collector's Edition Digital for $80 content on the Xbox Store and I just realize that is bit more expensive than the destiny orbit section. It tells me that it requires the TTK even though I bought the Collector's Edition about few days
    ago before when it came out... Is really depressing when you have the Collector's Edition and you can't even play the game.

    Sorry to hear it. In order for The Taken King to be downloaded separately you would have needed to purchase both of the previous DLC's AND Destiny on the same gamertag. If no one can access TTK then my presumption is that the game and content were each
    purchased on a separate tag.

    Your only option here would be to purchase the Legendary or Collector's Edition. It's a little more but will give you the game and all DLC up to TTK which you will be able to access and play on the console.
