Destiny The Taken King - Locked Out of Some DLC Content

I Have the base Destiny game on disc but through the store added expansion pass for Dark Below & House of Wolves plus The Taken King 'Legendary' Edition & Rise of Iron DLC's, I've not played it for a good 8 months and today decided to have a play, but noticed
I was locked out of some content for not having the Taken King 'Collector's' Edition which wasn't in the store at the time and this Collectors version was released after the Legendary version which is no longer in the store, but the Collectors edition has
exactly the same content as the Legendary version, only the name is different. Now content I had access to for The Taken King and subsequently now locked out of requires me to upgrade to the Collector's Edition for £19.99 for content I owned under the Legendary
Edition?

I posted in Bungie forums, not receiving an answer from Bungie directly but a member saying he had the same issue and contacted Microsoft who rectified the issue for him, but Ive no idea as to if this is true or where do I go to for this sort of help as
I've spent hours just trying to get either chat, which can't help its just asks the wrong questions, call back is unavailable an nor am I getting some email address for support, so I'm hoping someone in the community has experienced this happening and knows
where to go for help.

Thanks, having just found on the Bungie forums another person in the same predicament it seems that Microsoft Store is at fault, for misinformation about The Taken King, where extras in the Collectors Edition was included in the Legendary Edition by mistake
so apparently They should offer refund which would then allow purchase of the Collectors Edition to unlock some content that I/we weren't supposed to have in the first place and obviously the Legendary Edition was removed from the store.

So yes anyone reading this go to store help/chat etc and if you purchased the Legendary Edition via Microsoft Store then you should get a refund after some checking on their part.

you would need to speak to Microsoft support directly about this issue.

If you go here, select "Games" as category, and selecting a topic, you should have a "show other options" button?

Click this and you'll want the "Chat with Xbox Support option".

Hi, sorry for late reply. The content he was trying to access was the Taken King Expansion. He could access and play Destiny itself, but was locked out of Taken King.

sorry to hear it. however, you will need to purchase the full version of the game and it's previous dlc prior to accessing the taken king content. I would recommend contacting phone support and getting a refund on the taken king then purchasing destiny
the collection. it will contain all content up to and including the rise of iron dlc.
