    Destiny The Taken King & Destiny Stand-a-Lone Game With Expansion Packs I & II


    I have the original Destiny and both expansion packs, I & II since I originally purchased the Ghost Edition when it came out.

    Now there is an update to Destiny - The Taken King.

    It appears that most SKU's available have the Taken King and the original Destiny (which is required to play the "Taken King") along with the 2 expansion packs.

    I really don't want to pay for the Destiny again and the two expansion packs in order to get The Taken King.

    It it possi8b.e to purchase the Taken King by itself. There appears to be many versions of it and I am not quite sure.

    Tips/Advice are welcomed.

    This Week on Xbox One MS has some specials for digital copies, but it appears it has the original game as part of the sale, not just The Taken King alone.

    Purchasing "Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition"

    I just purchased the Legendary Edition Bundle of Destiny & The Taken King (Destiny: König der Besessenen - Legendäre Edition kaufen – Microsoft Store de-DE)
    digitally on my Xbox One.

    However, when I installed the game, it installed only Destiny (the base game) and The Taken King (with Expansion I, Expansion II, and The Taken King).

    Even though the "Destiny: The Taken King - Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade" is supposed to be included in the bundle, this did not install, and even when I went into manage game, a panel never showed up for this DLC. When I go to the Digital Collector's
    Edition Upgrade by itself in the store, it shows "Unavailable" where it would usually say "Manage."

    This is my second negative experience with Destiny, and if I can't get the full bundle as advertised, i'm not really interested in having the game at all. Is there any way I can fix my access to this DLC or get a refund for the entire bundle??

    Game not showing up in My games and apps

    If you bought Destiny: The Taken King it only include the DLC but you will need the base game to play it. If you buy Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition, it will include the base game and the expansion.
