    The one thing I really hate about Bungie's development of Destiny is that they've always favored new content to appear on the Playstation first.

    I don't know if it's saltiness over Microsoft's/343 Industries' current treatment of the Halo franchise, Sony is funding extra for first dibs, or something-or-other, but it gets really annoying to see this happen as an Xbox player -- someone who shouldn't
    be facing this kind of "consumer discrimination".

    This is apparently what is happening here with Rise of Iron. It's just business as usual: Playstation players are getting new content first and there's nothing Xbox players can do. It's not just ranting and raving, it's been a long-time fact. This apparently
    extends to freaking expansion pre-orders as well!

    Time is our only option, friend. How much time, however, is unknown to everybody but Bungie.

    Apparently there is bad blood between Bungie and Microsoft. Why else would they sell there #1 game series(halo)? Now they have a new #1(Destiny) and Bungie does not want to give Microsoft anything without a huge price attached. This is just my opinion
    and I too am very upset that I cannot pre-order Destiny Rise of Iron for XO. It is even more frustrating that no one knows anything or at least will not say why we cannot pre-order.

    There is no bad blood between Microsoft and Bungie. Sony has a budget in place to get exclusives and early releases from companies. They pay out a lot of money in order to have Exclusive weapons, early releases, ETC. They have mentioned this several times
    within the last 6 years. Sony is trying to get a leg up over Microsoft.

    I seem to be getting something different.

    I can't easily find "Destiny: Rise of Iron" in the store pages without doing a manual search for "Rise of Iron".

    I get an add-on page for ROI, but there's no purchase/pre-order options. There's only a message that says "(!) Destiny: Rise of Iron is currently not available."
