    Destiny Rise of Iron pre-order bonuses not available for some users on my XBOX ONE


    Hi,

    I pre-ordered Destiny Rise of Iron which came with several pre-order bonuses.

    All of the bonuses appeared for my user account on the XBOX ONE system, but unfortunately
    other users on the system did not receive all the pre-order bonuses.

    The 2 affected users were ActivistHALO676 and SilverHat409600.

    The Spark Of Light bonus was not available to these accounts.

    I contacted Bungie player support and was directed by them to contact Microsoft.

    Please let me know if this can be rectified.

    There's currently no way to pre-order Destiny: Rise of Iron for Xbox One users.

    Believe me, I tried since day one of announcement.

    Even on Bungie's official page, attempting to pre-order only shows an unclickable "Coming Soon" button.

    The reasons why are unknown... except perhaps to Bungie.

    I seem to be getting something different.

    I can't easily find "Destiny: Rise of Iron" in the store pages without doing a manual search for "Rise of Iron".

    I get an add-on page for ROI, but there's no purchase/pre-order options. There's only a message that says "(!) Destiny: Rise of Iron is currently not available."

    These bonuses are only given to the original player who purchased the DLC and logged in. It's not something that's given to all accounts or characters on the console. In other words it's a 1 time use item that's not shareable between accounts or characters
    on a single account. Once it's been used, it can no longer be obtained or used again.

    Since it's an in game item, Bungie would be best to help if you're not seeing the item at all. Since you did mention that it showed up one one account and not the others, it sounds like it's working as intended.

    Hope that helps to clarify, please post a new thread if you have any other support issues.

    found this and it helped me. Hi all,

    My friend and I were trying to pre-order Rise of Iron for Destiny late tonight and ran into an issue where we could not purchase the add-on. It was saying that the add-on was only part of the bundle, which is the "Destiny: The Collection" bundle. Here
    is our work around that we found to work for both of us:

    On your Xbox One in the Xbox Store...

    - Go to "The Taken King" Destiny DLC page on the Xbox Store

    - If you have the "Install" prompt (even if you own it and played it lots like me), INSTALL IT. I think this might update your license for the game.

    - Go to browse games. Search "Rise of Iron - Pre-Order" rather than the "Rise of Iron - Add-on". THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. The ADD-ON is part of the "Destiny: The Collection" bundle and is not available to purchase. However, the PRE-ORDER is MOST DEFINITELY
    available to purchase.

    - Go to the "Rise of Iron - Pre-Order" page (NOT RISE OF IRON - ADD-ON) and you should have a prompt to buy it.

    - Buy it and be happy FINALLY

    I hope this helps anyone else who is in a similar situation I was in trying to pre-order this DLC late.
