    Destiny froze while transferring game content from 360 to One


    Had Destiny on 360. Got Xbox One S and purchased new Destiny Collection. I've been attempting to play for two days but it keeps saying "transferring game content" and it never reaches 100%

    Error Code when trying to download update for COD: Ghosts on XBox One "0x800701f6"

    I'm into the game now at least where it says it is installing Destiny and transferring game content and I am at 4% but have been there for a while now so time will tell I guess.

    So it seems XB1 owners would be nuts not to buy Destiny on 360

    This deal convinced me to get Destiny for my 360 while my X1 is getting fixed by microsoft. Will our game saves and data also transfer from console to console?

    How to transfer games from 360 account to a xbox 1 account

    destiny 1 was released for the 360 and the one. the 360 release lost all support for any new content a longtime ago and is not compatable with the one, the one version had content released for a while, you would need to purchase the one version of destiny.

    License Transfer ( 360 to One S ? )

    You can't directly transfer anything from the 360 to the One. Anything you purchased on your account that is backwards compatible will show in your Games and Apps area under Ready to Install as long as you sign into the same account that purchased the games.
    I understand, but I meant Content Licenses; ONLY for example, say I transferred the licenses from my old 360 to a 360 slim, and then transferred the games as well with a 360 transfer cable; will I need to transfer the Content Licenses as shown by here
    before I can re-download them (the content that is backwards compatible at least) onto my xbox one s, or can I just erase my old 360 hard drive and just start "fresh" so to speak

    You should be able to transfer the content to the other Xbox 360 no problem. You will still be able to use the games on your profile while the license transfer will allow him to use the games on his specific Xbox. Here's the article about it!
