    Destiny Bundle - Rise of Iron


    I see Destiny The Collection Upgrade on for 29.99 (sale until sept 19-16), I'm all ready to press A to finish buying it.....i read the details: says Special offer for xbox360. (So I'm curious if its for xbox one or xbox 360)

    So I call Microsoft support and ask. The guy says "its for xbox 360,"

    i'm like "it says available on xbox one.....?"

    He says "you can purchase items through xbox one for xbox 360 also"

    Next day i look at the bundle again. 52.99.....What the hell??? Today 39.99 coming soon, so cant buy it yet.....

    MICROSOFT: i want this DLC "Destiny The collection upgrade" for 29.99. xbox one.

    Ive called and chatted with enough people!!

    I'm mad that i was lied to.

    Destiny Rise Of Iron Pre Order not working

    On Xbox.com I saw a listing for a Destiny Rise Of Iron bundle, tried preordering it and got errors for having a child account (I have a teen account). On the actual Xbox Console, that bundle doesn't exist. Same thing happened with forza horizon 3, but was

    Hey Unggoy85!

    Unfortunately, the sale price for Rise of Iron you're referring to is only for the Xbox 360 version. The Xbox One version is a separate purchase from the Xbox 360 release. Sales and specials can vary. Keep an eye out on future sales for the Xbox One!

    Sorry but rise of iron is not being released for the Xbox 360. So again, 29.99 like it was listed for, until Sept 19-16. I've only been an Xbox live member for 10 years....what's the problem on fulfilling your sale price? I've given ms lots of my money.
    What's the harm in giving a little back?

    Hey Unggoy85! Here on the forums we don't have the ability to affect the price of a title. I would suggest keeping an eye on the sales for future savings. Thanks for understanding!

    Preordering Rise of iron

    Hi all,

    In order to purchase Destiny: Rise of Iron you must make sure your account which is trying to purchase Rise of Iron owns Destiny: The Taken King. That is required to be able to purchase Rise of Iron.

    Now if you have finished that step then you have a few methods of which you can buy the DLC:

    1. You can sign into your account via this link here:
    www.microsoft.com/.../c3tbg0pc3fc9     and buy the DLC

    Or

    2. Launch your game and under the director select the icon for Rise of Iron and select purchase and try to purchase the DLC.

    Now you also could try searing the Store on your Xbox One for "Destiny: Rise of Iron" but if you do make sure it says "Pre-Order" otherwise you will run into the issue of it stating it can only be bought in a bundle.

    found this and it helped me. Hi all,

    My friend and I were trying to pre-order Rise of Iron for Destiny late tonight and ran into an issue where we could not purchase the add-on. It was saying that the add-on was only part of the bundle, which is the "Destiny: The Collection" bundle. Here
    is our work around that we found to work for both of us:

    On your Xbox One in the Xbox Store...

    - Go to "The Taken King" Destiny DLC page on the Xbox Store

    - If you have the "Install" prompt (even if you own it and played it lots like me), INSTALL IT. I think this might update your license for the game.

    - Go to browse games. Search "Rise of Iron - Pre-Order" rather than the "Rise of Iron - Add-on". THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. The ADD-ON is part of the "Destiny: The Collection" bundle and is not available to purchase. However, the PRE-ORDER is MOST DEFINITELY
    available to purchase.

    - Go to the "Rise of Iron - Pre-Order" page (NOT RISE OF IRON - ADD-ON) and you should have a prompt to buy it.

    - Buy it and be happy FINALLY

    I hope this helps anyone else who is in a similar situation I was in trying to pre-order this DLC late.
