Destiny $5 per month deal gone bad

I renewed my Xbox live gold on 9/22/2014 from the dashboard on my Xbox 360, the offer stated that destiny has a year of gold and that this offer would cost $5 per month, upon completing the offer it was telling me that i was being charged a yearly live price
which i assumed was how the offer had to be stated on the receipt to be valid. it still was a bit concerning because there was no $5 per month info to be seen. later i had found that the entire amount for a one yer subscription had been charged to the account,
the problem being i only put enough to cover a few months into the account that was charged because of it only supposed to cost $5 per month.

After bouncing my account twice which cost me $70 in overdraft fees, plus $59.99 for gold, and $3.90 for tax on the purchase, I spent $133.89 for a supposed $5 per month deal. A rather large difference between offer and realistic cost.

Please make this right, that much unexpected cost is far higher than the average consumer has backup funding for, and in my case as a disabled vet with limited income it was extra hard to cut that amount out of an already tight budget.

Why would yall chamge the limit option for the support team to rest my home xbox

5 times per 12 months is more than enough unless you are doing something dodgy or you have gone through more than 5 consoles in less than 12 months.

That is the monthly cost when buying a 12 month subscription. There is no error with that deal. It breaks down the monthly cost when you pay for a 12 month, which is $5 a month in that case.

There is nothing to fix. The advertisement is 100% correct.

$5 a month for 12 months if $60.

 

xTye is correct it just shows you that what 60 bucks a year breaks down per month opposed to paying say 10 a month or 20 for 3 etc. you can try but I am almost 99.999999999% sure they will not give you any refund as there is nothing they did wrong, you
just simply misunderstood the 5 dollar thing sorry.
