    Destiny 2 XBOX ONE console help needed


    We Pre-ordered Destiny 2.

    Received download code but failed to redeem game through the store with the code. We made the mistake of redeeming code for $100. Realizing our mistake, we purchased game through the store.

    Download was successful, but when we launched the game we realized we were starting from the very beginning of the game.

    Can anything be done to get our progress back?

    Xbox one X crashing

    Hi

    My Xbox one x is crashing while playing destiny 2, now this crash just shuts the console off completely with a black screen. Only happening so far on Destiny 2 and it seems to be at certain points during gameplay. I have reinstalled the game to see if that
    would fixed something but so far no luck.

    Can anyone help or is my Xbox faulty ?

    Destiny 2 XBOX ONE console help needed

    Destiny 2 does not save progress from previous versions of the game. You have the choice to import your old character but he will still be starting from the beginning.

    It's a new game.

    Fresh start for everyone.

    As onyxishere has said: The only thing you can import are the looks of your old D1 character.

    It looks like Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is treating itself as an entirely new game from Destiny 2. While my family was previously able to use 2 copies of Destiny 2 and 1 copy of the expansions, this new expansion seems to need a copy for each family xbox.

    Does the TV matter?

    Destiny 2 will always be compatible with the Xbox One. If your TV isn't 4K or has the latest tech. Your console will still run on it, and you should still be able to play Destiny 2 on it.
