    Destiny 2 stuck on "Installing Dependencies"


    Hi all,

    I have recently joined the Xbox insiders to be able to better manage my installation of games on the PC Game Pass and better monitor my hard drive filling up.

    I reinstalled my games after that and almost all of them work correctly, but Destiny 2 isn't starting up at all. I've seen multiple posts on either the Destiny 2 reddit or PC Game Pass reporting the same issue.

    When starting the game, it get stuck on "Installing Dependencies" and the progress bar doesn't move. By cancelling, the game sometimes start but I'm then not able to connect to the Destiny 2 servers.

    Xbox One Install time problem.

    As for the downloadable games, this really depends on your bandwidth and net download speed. As for the Destiny installation, Try hard-restarting the console and starting the install again with the xbox one always on

    I'll give Destiny 2 a look and maybe a buy depends on the content and how it links into the first game. It also depends on how much I am playing "The Division" or "Elder Scrolls online".

    I think it depends what missions you are doing, a bit like Destiny 2, some of it match makes, some of it doesn't.

    Un-install and re-install again. It might work for you. Also, it might take a while to download it because everybody is trying to download it.

    I can't believe the install time was that long for you guys! I redeemed the code on xbox.com then when I turned my console on it started installing and only took 20 minutes. The last 10% took the longest to install.
