Destiny 2 Preorder Reward

Hello,

I preordered Destiny 2 from the Xbox Store within the timeframe ahead of its release and have not received my rewards credits for that. I am an active Xbox Live Rewards member. Can you help?

Never received rewards for preorder

hi, I never received my XBox rewards credit for my preorder of Destiny 2. Please help. I was connected here through 2 support agents.

Pre ordered a game before it was available for a reward.

I pre-ordered Destiny 2 before it was a Xbox reward option. Is there a way to get it to count toward my preorder punch card?

As long as you preordered on or after July 1, it would count was a punch towards your games on demand punchcard. You would need 2 other eligible purchases to complete the offer and receive credits.

The only offer that purchase would have been eligible for is the Games on Demand offer. From the FAQ for that offer:

—How do I earn Rewards with the Games on Demand Pre-Order Punchcard?

Earn 15,000 Rewards Credits when you pre-order three eligible (see descriptor in next question) Games on Demand titles in the Xbox Store between July 1, 2017 00:00 UTC and September 30, 2017 23:59 UTC. You must pre-order each game before its shown release
date to qualify. Please visit http://www.worldtimeserver.com or another world time database to determine local time.

Since you do not have three eligible pre-orders, you have not completed the offer.

There were no Xbox Rewards offers to receive 6,000 credits for Destiny 2. That was an offer from the Microsoft Rewards program. Preorders did not count towards that offer.

That's referring to the Destiny punchcard offer through the Microsoft Rewards program (preorders did not count for that offer, you had to purchase the game after release), not the Xbox Rewards program. The two programs are different. For the Xbox Rewards
program, the only offer to receive credits for Destiny was the Games on Demand punchcard which involved preordering 3 games.

If you want to contact customer support for the Microsoft Rewards program, you would need to do so through their contact link on their redemption page.
