Destiny 2 Expansion Cross Over issue

Hi there. I bought Destiny 2 (D2) a few months back. I had a few if the DLCs as well. I recently linked my D2 account with my Steam account so as to play D2 on my PC. When I linked the account, It showed that I didn't have the DLCs I purchased. It did show that I purchased the Forsaken DLC but not the Shadowkeep DLC. I have in my inventory items from the Shadowkeep DLC and these items are only obtainable through owning the DLC. I remember vividly the actual maps, missions etc. Basically, I know I owned it, and I have evidence that I did. But its not recognizing it.

How would I go about getting that DLC without having to pay again?

Is this a download error?

Information Transfer error?

Who do I need to reach out to, to get this resolved quickly?

Did you purchased the DLC in the Microsoft / Xbox store?

If that's the case, purchased content on a different store let's you use that content only with that store

This applies with all the stores.
For example you purchased a game via epic store and want to download through steam, you need to pay on steam in order to play the game from there <you can change epic and steam for a different store)

The large expansion is said to have a huge amount of content to justify disc release as well as digital release. Our expansion pass covers 1 and 2.

Head over to my games and apps, click destiny and select mange game.

See if expansion 1 and 2 are under the ready to install tab from there.

Well, you keep your stuff.

For example, I have enabled cross saving on my Bungie account, and own Destiny 2 Forsaken and Shadowkeep on the Xbox One.

I also play Destiny 2 with friends on PC, and only play the "free" base game with my cross save character.

I still have quests that refer to Forsaken and Shadowkeep, and have weapons that I only get through these expansions (like Cayde 6 Ace of Spades handgun) on PC, but I can't start the quests. But I can use the Ace of Spades, despite not owning Forsaken on
PC.

So you are able to play the base game with the first two expansions, as the game is now free to play.

Since you used the expansions while they were still shared from the original owner, you also have quests and items from these paid expansions.

Then the sharing got changed and your console lost the ability to "unlock" the Forsaken and Shadowkeep expansions, as you didn't buy them.

After the next "expansions" it's Destiny 2 + season pass (includes 2 DLC).
