    Destiny 2 errors streaming on game pass


    I've had many issues getting Destiny to work properly on mobile streaming through the game pass. I think I messed something up by not finishing the intro sequence when I first started playing. It bugged my account/save and prevented me from going past the
    first intro cutscene with any character I created, no matter what I did. So I decided to download Destiny on PC and use that as my primary character on cross-save. This allowed me to play Destiny 2, no problem on the game pass, but I was using a PC character
    with none of the DLC. I disconnected the cross-save and ran into the same issues with my characters. I got a used Xbox One S, where I successfully created and played with my Xbox characters. When I go back to mobile, though, I can get logged in and visit destinations,
    but no NPCs are available, and I get kicked back into orbit after about a minute with the error cabbage.

    So I can play on game pass streaming with other character saves, but somehow I think my Destiny 2 Xbox account/save is bugged and doesn't allow me to play on mobile; playing via Xbox console is fine. This persists across different networks and annoying.
    Is there anything I can do here to get it working with my characters correctly? Is there a way to reset my account save file?

    Issue redeeming a Gift

    Just wanted to follow up on this for anyone else that should search and run into a similar issue.

    After a few MS support chats it was discovered that you need to own all the DLC first.

    The error in our case was caused by the fact that Destiny 2 and destiny 2 Forsaken are considered different games. If you own Destiny 2 and its DLC you cannot redeem the second season pass if you dont own the game Destiny 2 Forsaken as again its classed
    as a different game apparently.

    I failed to realise the season pass for Forsaken doesn't include forsaken...

    So in short if anyone else has a similar issue check if you can redeem the pass if you dont own the base game, even if the base game is now a piece of DLC.
