    ITV PLAYER OR TV CATCHUP FOR XBOX?

    The Xbox is pretty bad for tv IMO and I have one, I am pretty dissapointed with the new dash layout and the new apps which have been added, I find it's better to use any of the new apps, YouTube etc on my iPad or a laptop instead.

    That said I do love the Xbox for what it was originally designed for which is gaming and it is used for that daily

    Me too... I'm also hoping they move the "Games" tab even further away from the "home" tab and make the TV one more prominent..... </sarcasm> =D



    I still say the guys who came up with the new layout really shouldn't be allowed to call themselves designers or ever have anything to do with games consoles ever again.... the actual design on the whole I can live with.... the layout? Stoopid!

    Indeed not. The $0.50 charge is a one-time deal to keep Microsoft in compliance with COPPA's recent update, and is unrelated to the system update. System updates are semi-frequent, and designed to keep the operating system on par with the latest coding
    rollouts, fixing bugs, re-organizing content based on new formats and layouts, etc.
