Denied refund without explanation

I was trying to refund a game that I accidentally purchased and I was denied with no email explaining anything.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on a refund denial. You will need to reply to the email that stated the refund is denied. As there are many different factors when issues refunds.

Hi. So they sent me an email saying my refund case was closed, but no other explanation as to a refund or if it was denied. I have no idea what this means.

Have you played the game for more than two hours? If so then you more than likely had the game for too long and won't get a refund.

"To qualify for a refund, you'll have to meet a few criteria though. A refund has to be requested within two weeks of an app or game purchase, and you must wait until at least one day after the release date to start the refund process. You also have
to have used the product for less than two hours across all accounts. Additionally, season passes, add-ons and DLC are not eligible for a self-service refund."

Unfortunately there is not a way to swap a purchase without refunding the original purchase and having you purchase the correct item. The only way to do so would be to go through the refund request form. Once you submit a request and they either approve
or deny the request, you can email them back to give them more explanation, but since the original purchase was done in September it's most likely no longer possible to have anything done.
