    First, the fact that I can't speak to a live person about this issue is the most disgusting and despicable thing I have ever encountered from a company your size.

    My child accidently repurchased a game we already owned (Not DLC, the full game). Microsoft charged me for it. I submitted a refund and was DENIED with no explanation. Can someone please explain? This makes zero sense. We received nothing for the purchase
    because the game was already purchased and installed. So because of a child's mistake I'm paying twice for the same game?

    If you haven't already, you would need to try responding to the emails you received denying the refunds to contact the refund specialists. Otherwise, we are just fellow gamers here so there's nothing we could do.

    but if you have owned the game for more than 14 days or played for more than 2 hours then a refund will be denied.

    Phone/chat support no longer handle refunds, so talking to them most likely will not do anything good either. If the refund specialists denied the refund and you already tried emailing them and they denied it again, it's not going to get refunded.
