denied refund but they took the dlc?

i bought the deluxe edition for lightfall months ago and then tried to refund it. was told no for what i assume was using the gun that came w buying it for more than 2 hours. lightfall has now release and when i try to play it tells me to don’t own it. i never got my money back and up until now i’ve been able to see it on my xbox. pls help me

Please check your account order history on https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ and find your pre-order if it says failed, canceled, or refunded. Please note that the system only tries to charge us for pre-orders if it’s 10 days before the release date. So it’s possible that you were not charged at all.

I just purchased this DLC and realized I made a wrong purchase, I didn't even play the DLC and went straight for a refund, but the page just says refund denied.

Okay i resovled the dlcs but i tried to refund my game and it said refund denied but i lost my game and it says i need to buy it again?

Having the same issue. Requested refund when I saw Microsofts error in dlc payment. Got denied a refund. Called and talked to support and was told to email refunds department with request to expedite and case number. Got denied. I'm sick of MS being MFers and sticking it to gamers. I buy dozens of titles a year and my number of refunds shouldn't be limited to a X number but as a function of total purchases.

If you have played the DLC for more than 2 hours, then that will be why you have been denied a refund. If you haven't played for 2 hours, then try replying to the email with the denial of refund on it, and explain why you want the refund. They might give you it then.
