    Delta/Omega build affecting Download Speed


    On August 28th I downloaded an update pushed to me through the Delta or Omega circle, I don't remember the circle it was at the time. From that date I have experienced terrible download speeds. While my internet isn't great 6Mbps service, I have always hit around 4-5 Mbps download speeds and 0.6 Mbps upload. I have had no issues gaming online and other than a little slower downloads, xbox live has worked great. Since August 28 my download speeds are consistantly 0.35 Mbps and still at around 0.5Mbps upload. I have tried a different router, called my ISP multiple times, and tested other devices in my house. - a different router yielded no different results - the 2 laptops in my house have consistent speed tests at 5 Mbps download speed - My PS4 has download speeds of 4-5 Mbps - My ISP confirms no issues with my connection and has bridged my connection to my router for improved results, the Xbox doesn't improve.

    I have tried to replace all variables which brings me back to it possibly being my xbox as it is the only device that is having issues. I contacted Xbox for help but all their DNS servers and other troubleshooting measures failed. The only thing that changed between the time of good download speeds and now is the August 28th update.

    Hi, it depends what ring you are in. Currently there is no insider build for Beta, Delta and Omega rings, this means you will be on the current public build.

    These are the latest Xbox OS and also the Beta, Delta and Omega rings of Insider Preview Program are also on the latest release
    to General Availability builds.

    Hi, it depends what ring you are in. Currently there is no insider build for Beta, Delta and Omega rings, this means you will be on the current public build.
    So I was in the beta, but I would like to take my console from the insider and not receive more updates and the insider hub app is not getting my console off, it just stays on hold.
