Deleting xbox account (only)

No, you can't delete only the Xbox account of your email, but even if you could you won't be able to add that email to the old account, as the email has already been used on a Microsoft account.

To change the email address on a Microsoft account you will need to create that email during the change process, unless you will add an external email.

if you created a new microsoft email then that is basically a new microsoft account. you cannot transfer anything.

The Xbox account IS the Microsoft account IS the email address, they are one in the same.

you can create a new alias on the original account then make it primary then after a week or so remove the old email alias, just make sure to update any sites you need to keep with the new email alias.

The only way to delete an Xbox account is by deleting the Microsoft account attached to it.

You can only delete ms accounts and it only makes it harder to recovered

Accounts are saved on the Xbox's servers. So deleting an account will only delete it from the console unless it's an account that has never been connected to Live.
