Deleting an in active account that you know hasnt been signed in for 4 years +

under some circumstances accounts and Gamertags can be deleted by Microsoft. For further Information just follow the link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4511051/microsoft-account-activity-policy

But you can‘t reach out to Microsoft to get an account deleted. This will be done automatically under those circumstances.

here. If it is your account and you can‘t recover the information you should get in contact with the Support

What about if the account is yours but forgot the email and password to access to it just only remember the gamertag

The account has probably been recycled. I think that if an account hasnt been used in two years it gets deleted.

When was the last time you successfully signed in to your account? As explained in the Microsoft account activity policy, any Microsoft account that hasn’t been accessed for 2 years will be closed/deleted (with a few exceptions).

There’s unfortunately no possible way to recover your account once it’s been automatically deleted because of inactivity.
