Deleting a Soul Link in Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition

I acidentally created a save in an area where I am stuck, and cant get out of a certain zone. is there any way to delete the soul link and fix my game, or will I just have to start over? I’m about 2/3rds through with the game and have played for over 7 hours
straight and would really not like to have to restart my whole progress.

I'm sorry to hear that you are stuck in Thornfelt in a ditch on Ori and the Blind Forest. from what I've seen online you can't terminate/remove the Soul Link. lots of other players are having the same issue. here'sa link that might help
