Deleted mail account

Thanks for the idea. I did this, registered the mail again to avoid someone else doing it.

If the old email address is available to register, can you not register it to avoid someone else doing it?

It's not possible to "delete" an account from Microsoft's servers in the traditional sense. If you have personal information on the account you can request it be deleted from the account but the gamertag that's associated with the e-mail cannot be deleted.

If you need to change your e-mail so this specific e-mail attached to this account is usable again then please follow the directions
here to change the e-mail associated with the account.
