    Greetings!

    Today I found that the message from Xbox Live Team with GoW1-3 codes (for the purchase GoW4) was deleted (the expiration date may have expired) and I did not manage to activate them.

    Could you send them again?

    Code for GOW1 not activable

    Because I have the console bundle version (including GOW4 Ultimate Edition) I got a message from "Xbox Live" with the codes for GOW1, GOW3, etc.

    I got 3 codes. 2 of the codes are activable.

    But the first code for GOW1 cannot be activated. I get the message it is invalid. I get the message on XBOX ONE and also on PC (Windows 10).

    Is this issue known? Where can I get a valid key for GOW1 now?

    Codes for GOW1 and 3

    I found a solution in another forum.

    As I live in Andorra and my account is set to Spain, it seems that there's some kind og regional protection (maybe for violent content) that makes that in some countries the code of the games is not accepted.

    So, I used a free VPN for simulating that my computer is in Spain (I used "tunnelbear", it's a free VPN), then went to the web of Xbox.com (not directly in the console) for redeeming the code, and the codes of GOW1 and 3 were accepted, now the games are
    dowloading to my console.

    If the problem is that there's a regional protection maybe the people of Microsoft should explain that in the error screen, not that "something went wrong", the same with the online support.

    I hope everybody else finds a solution too.

    does your account region match you actual region if not that would be why

    You must change it under my account and change my region on this website )not locale fyi) and there is a 3month waiting period to change back

    Then change it on your console

    Gears of war collection codes are not working

    UPDATE: tried to redeem the codes from a different account on the xbox and here are the results

    -Codes for Gears of war 2 and judgment Works fine

    -Codes for Gears of war 1 and 3 still dont work with the same error

    checked the forums and found many have the same problem(GOW 2 and judgment works fine and GOW1, 3 do not), so i think it is a problem from microsoft side
