    message/codes accidentally were deleted and I want them back. I ended up purchasing Gears of War 3 independently and as soon as I did I saw that I had a message from December 12th saying "here are your redemption codes for Gears of war 3 and Gears: Judgement"
    I clicked the "B" button on the Xbox controller, not the "X" button and it deleted the message thread.

    To clarify, which codes are you referring to? Are you referring to the Gears of War collection that includes Gears of War 1, 2, 3 and Gears of War: Judgement?

    As far as I'm aware, once a message has been deleted, it cannot be recovered.

    My advice would be to write down (or redeem) any codes that are sent to you as soon as possible to ensure that you don't lose out.

    It is possible that Xbox Support might be able to track the codes down for you - they will reply here for you in the next couple of working days.
