delete xbox remote from windows 11

You can disable the apps, but it might be simpler to disable them on startup so you they don't run in the background.

1. Right-click the start menu and click on Task Manager

2. On the left side click on Startup apps

3. Find 'Xbox' in the list and right-click then click Disable

Here are the steps you can follow to uninstall the Xbox app:

1. Click Start, type PowerShell, then right-click it and choose "Run as administrator".

2. Copy and paste each of the following commands into the PowerShell window, pressing Enter after each one:

Get-AppxPackage *Xbox* | Remove-AppxPackage

Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

3. Once both commands have been executed, restart your computer and check if Xbox has been uninstalled.

Given that we are having issues plainly with the PC and there could be connection if you were running the Windows/Xbox Insider build while performing the attempt to do Xbox remote play. We also need to look at the other side that this could be caused by the Windows profile.

I am trying to remote connect via the Xbox App. I have tried on my Win 11 Desktop, VM Machine Running Win 10 and Surface running Win 10 Pro

I cant even get into the system for remote play, it gives me the error as seen on the first screen
