Delete Xbox Game Pass PC games after switching hard drive?

I have multiple xboxes and I had the same problem. I deleted my profile ONLY, deleted the gears content after backing up my saved games and gears of war 3 beta information to flash drive. Then I cleared the cache on my hard drive.

After that I recovered my gamertag and then downloaded the season pass again and it recognized it.

Thanks for the reply. This is a difficult one as the old hard drive has files from the entire system of the old PC. This could mean the error is system files, game files or any other ones. The game pass folder are not accessible as they are for games you
technically do not own. As you get them through game pass. Is the old hard drive a secondary one or the primary? As the best thing would be to reformat the drive so it would match the new PC.

It's not the primary hard drive, but I really don't want to reformat it as it has almost 2 TB of data on it (games, work files... - and everything except for these games works perfectly fine). I'd have to buy another external hard drive just to save my files.

Is it not possible to simply delete these files? By letting the Xbox app manually detect it or anything like that?

Go to your hard drive & delete the season pass & arena dlc( house of .....,can't remember the name).Delete the game,clear your cache & redownload the game only,NOT the season pass or arena dlc.

This probelm is well known & something to do with the season pass & arena dlc so make sure they are not on your hard drive

Usually when a game is installed to the hard drive, the disc will spin for approximately 3minutes and then stop. The game will continue to play from the hard drive. If your game disc is still spinning after 3 minutes, then I would suggest maybe that the
xbox hasn't recognised the game is installed. Try deleting the game from the hard drive and reinstalling it.
