    Delete windows 10 save for Xbox games


    My issue is with the Wolfenstein the new order that just came out on windows 10 xbox "store"

    Got all gold and no achievement for doing so.

    Started new game, earsed save.. the perks and levels reset but not egnigma code or the GOLD so i cant try to pick them up again to get achievement.

    Other people have it so im unlucky and not sure why i didnt...

    Saw old post and did up to step 4.. Wolfenstein wont let me play without signing in....vsi thats not working and they closed the fourm...

    Microsoft needs to merge with Bethesda and get support happening... Was maybe a year ago doom 2 had a issue with achievement tracking (tooks months for the fix to come out) so its annoying

    I did lodge a suggestion on Xbox Ideas that is waiting for a moderator to approve. Its highly likely that I am not the only one with this problem, be nice if we could get the support to have this implemented.

    Update: Found a work-around
    1. Uninstall Game/App
    1.1 Sign out of Xbox App
    2. Go to https://account.live.com/consent/Manage Find the app and click the Edit button. On the next page click "Remove These Permissions".
    3. Re-Install The app, in my case Hill Climb 2
    4. (From memory here) Launch the app, it should ask if you grant permission for the app to access your Xbox data. Deny access or Just close the Sign in box.
    5. Important. Play a few games - I played until Bronze II before proceeding to next step. (Not sure if Game Name is important, I did use a new name)
    6. Go to the Game/app settings and connect Xbox. Now it should ask you if you want to use Cloud Data or Local Data. Choose Local Data

    Hi Daniel,

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

    Outer Worlds for Windows does not support cloud saves like the Xbox One version does.
    There isn't much official support information online regarding cloud saves specifically for games downloaded through the Microsoft Store on Windows 10, although it does seem that not all games downloaded through the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 supports
    cloud saves across multiple devices. Cross-save is explained to work for
    Xbox Play Anywhere titles in regards to games available on Xbox One and Windows 10 and this could also be the case if you are trying to access saves on
    a different Windows 10 device. My assumption is that basically if a game is not listed as an Xbox Play Anywhere title, then it does not support cross-save across different devices whether it be an Xbox One console or another Windows 10 PC. You would have to
    manaully back up the saves to an external drive and transfer the saves over to the other PC.

    If you have an active Xbox live subscription and you know your
    saved games are backed up to the cloud, perhaps try deleting your saved game and re-sync it
    I am playing on PC and i dont have an xbox live subscription just bought it through the microsoft store through windows 10. I have tried deleting and re-syncing and still no luck.

    Update - I did eventually get the second computer to successfully get the cloud saves by deleting the local saves on that machine:(C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\The Outer Worlds Windows 10), I left the folders intact. That being said, It worked for me,
    but I tested with someone else who was having the same issue, but they deleted both folders and it did not work.
