Delete gamertag on my hacked account to use it again on my new account

if you would be able to verify that this is your hacked account you wouldn't need to cause in this case you could get the account back.

If you can not verify it, it's not possible to delete or change the Gt of an account.

Have you tried to request a call back from the phone support at the Microsoft contact us site. Maybe they see a chance to get the account back.

kinda same issue here.

so two years ago i deleted my ms account now two years late got a xbox one and created a new account but now i want my old gamertag back so thinking my old account had been deleted i tried to change my gamertag to my old gamertag but got a message that
"that gamertag has already been taken" then i searched about that gamertag and found out that my old account hadnt been deleted yet and then when i tried to log in to my old account it said " there is no account by that email address". so i guess that old
ms account got deleted but not the xbl account as i can still see my old gamertag,acchivement,account description and all.so is there any way to recover that old xbl account or the gamertag now by deleting that old xbl account so that gamertag be available
to put in my new account?

I would also like to know how to delete a gamertag, When I connected to xbox live for the first time, I had to register a new xbox live account and gamertag. Now that I am up and running I cannot use my Original gaming name due to the fact that it has been
taken by my previous registration. I really want to us this gaming name, but my other gamertag has accumallated xbox points. How do you delete an old account in order to release that gamertag for use in you new account?

I'm sorry to hear you wish to delete your account, however Microsoft has no way to delete delete the account. You can however can close the account by visiting account.Live.com and logging in with your Microsoft (Xbox) account and clicking on close account.
However, being this doesn't delete the account, it will make it so you can not use the email again to create a new account and you will not be able to use the gamertag again, as they will both still exist, they just can not be accessed.
