    Delete content on the Xbox One Movies and TV app.


    This is a pretty good app that I use all the time on Xbox One but I can't figure out how to delete or at least hide unwanted/old content inside the app when I go to " My collection". Logged in under my account.

    I want to clean it up and get rid of a bunch of 'junk' like old movie trailers and free stuff like that. There is no delete option or even hide option that I can see. Any help would be appreciated.

    [BUG] if Movies & TV app has an update, casting fails until reboot

    If the Movies & TV app has an update and you tried to do "Cast to device -> Xbox One" from Windows not only will the cast fail but the Movies & TV app cannot be opened until the system is shut
    down.

    Attempting to open the Movies & TV app on the xbox will simple create the icon click noise and the app fails to open.

    After restarting the xbox, launching the Movies & TV app, applying the update, then casting will continue to work as normal.

    This has occurred that last 3 times there has been an update to the Movies & TV app

    Can't purchase movies and tv on Xbox one.

    Since the new update on the 24th for the Xbox one preview program I haven't been able to purchase any movies or tv on the Xbox one movies and tv app. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it tonight after the new update came out and shows a whole new
    movies and tv app now and it's completely different. I still can't buy any movies or tv shows and I'm getting really irritated. I also tried a whole power restart for my Xbox and it still doesn't work.

    Reset the Xbox 360 Movies & TV app

    You can reset the Movies & TV app by removing any related content from your console:

    1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings and then System.
    2. Select Storage.
    3. Select your primary storage device.
    4. Select Games and Apps.
    5. Find and select any items that refer to "Movies & TV."
    6. Select Delete.

    I believe what you are talking about is for games/apps..... this is content inside the Movie and TV app itself.... I.E individual tv episodes, trailers, movies, etc....
