Delete All XBOX Files from Hard Drive

Yes, you can delate all Xbox files in your PC, what I do not know is if you can with the apps and companions.

There really aren't Xbox related files on your Hard Drive that take up a lot of space. The Xbox apps usually are only UI elements for core parts in Windows that can't be removed anyways (for example the parts that handle signing into your Microsoft Account
for basically everything from OneDrive, to Mail Apps, the Store etc.)

The apps themselves are just a few kilobyte, and unless you can right click an app to uninstall it, it's not recommended to delete it.

The few kilobytes you'd save will bite you in the rear if a critical Windows Update fails because you "hacked" these apps to be gone via PowerShell commands.

While there are instructions on how to remove these apps via Powershell, I advise against it, as it might cause issues with updating/upgrading to future Windows versions.

So, in all, it's not worth the time or effort to try to remove the Xbox apps, as you don't gain significant space. Simply unpin the Xbox tiles from the main start menu and pretend they aren't there.

Some pre-installed apps come as part of the OS and cannot be removed. Deleting their files will not uninstall the app, it will just make it non-functional until the files come back with the next Windows update. If the Xbox apps and files are removable, then
go ahead (you just need to delete both), but they might just reappear come update time.

If you're really concerned about space, an external hard drive could be your very best friend.

Please forgive what might be a really silly question, but here goes: If I promise to never, ever, EVER use an XBOX Game on my itty bitty crappy laptop-lite device, can I delete any and all XBOX related files? I have a laptop with only a 30GB drive, so I
need every ounce of space for only the most useful programs and apps. I hope I selected the right radio buttons to get me into the right queue.
