    My xbox controller left stick has delayed response. I started playing fc 25 when running diagonal runs. I tried recalibration but I have to rotate the left stick 20 for the first command . My old joystick has stick drift but I can move the left stick effortlessly. But this new joystick I have to use force .I tried almost everything except opening the controller as I'm scared to damage the controller

    Even if I connect the controller to USB cable or update it to the latest version the same thing happens the controller is only 4 months old

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your controller. Do you also experience latency when your controller is directly connected to your console via USB cable?

    If you are only experiencing delays when playing wireless, please check if you have the latest firmware updates for your controller.

    On an Xbox console, press the Xbox button to open the guide and then select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Controllers & headsets. Select “…” under the controller that you're troubleshooting to check the firmware status.
