Defective Xbox Series 2 Elite Controller and Class Action Law Suite

Wanting a service repair done for your known defective Xbox Series 2 Elite controller? This is the process:

No customer should be forced to pay a $99.99 fee for an "Out of Warranty" replacement when Xbox knows this product is defective. Yet alone pay a premium $179.99 for the product to begin with and have it fail across the bored with so many customers.

I want to love the product, I have supported Xbox for over 12 years! I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on products and services. I have had every console from the original Xbox since and plan on getting the new Series X when it releases
this year. Microsoft has a track record, but is coming up short here.

I cant turn a blind eye to a complete money grab of a product. This controller is a failure plain and simple. I have seen countless reports of people going through this process of repair and still receiving defective devices with the same ongoing issues.
Lets list them.

Complete Analog failure, joysticks drift and do not respond to input properly making the controller completely un-usable. On top of that there are constant connection drops between the console and the controller, it remains on with full charge and still
disconnects. These are just some of the issues I have been having yet alone other users issues.

This product should be given an exception. Extend the warranty or at least don't charge the extra fee. Come on Xbox you are better then this, the customers who are buying this product are some of your most loyal and die hard supporters and you are screwing
them over. I purchased the first Élite controller and was amazed and am so saddened to see this next installment is a complete failure. I will not be buying another "Elite" branded product from Xbox again unless they take some sort of action here.

I tried contacting customer support "Kevin" told me to call back because the system was down after explaining my request to have this product serviced without fee. There were roosters howling throughout the call in the background. (Calling back moments
later and with no indication of an outage) Next up was "Mario" and he set my expectations accordingly, hence why I am making this post for others to see. I was told the fee must be paid there is no way around it.

How can a company as big as Microsoft and Xbox not have any leverage for customer support here? How am I going to be forced to spend more money on an already defective product only to potentially receive another defective product? Am I to pay the fee again
and send it back!? Something here needs to change.
