    Default preferred billing address is not saving


    I can't save my new address as the default billing address in account's settings (https://account.microsoft.com/billing/addresses). Everytime I select needed address - the page says that it was successfully saved as preferred billing address, but in fact there's still a "No default address" in that column. Preferred delivery address saves correctly though. I can't purchase anything on Xbox without default billing address being set.

    I've already tried adding new entries, deleting everything and then add again, but it still says "No default address".

    I really appreciate you're trying to help quickly, but you forwarded me to the page, that advices to check default billing address and shows steps how to save a new address there - exactly the action that I can't do and that's why I started this support topic. I hope you're not kidding me by giving advice like this.

    I already changed my account region to UK. Unfortunately the steps you provided are obsolete. I remember there was really an ability to select country/region, state, postal code and time zone (there were more options to edit), but some time ago some updates were applied to that page, and the only things that you can change in "Edit profile info" are birth date and country. And that's all. See the picture below:

    Speaking about Xbox 360 profile migration - I already migrated my profile to UK, I see prices in GBP, I see my linked credit card. Everything is OK in this part of question. But can't buy anything, getting the error code 80182300 because the system doesn't see the default billing address (because it doesn't save anything)

    I have checked again and you are correct, the address seem to be stored in the billing address, but when I tried to renew my subscription, the system again asked me for a billing address, and payment can't be processed.

    So I guess it still too early to close this ticket.

    Definitely, there IS still a problem with purchasing content on Xbox 360. Everytime it shows 80182300 error (check billing address), but I suddenly purchased what I wanted! Just by spamming purchase button many times on my X360.

    I mean open the product page, press Confirm Purchase, then get 80182300 error, press OK, press Confirm Purchase again, get error again, OK again. And repeat this action as long as you can. 20 or 25 times I got error, but on 26 try it suddenly showed downloading screen and funds got taken from my credit card! Whoa. I'm almost sure that the same action could be done to buy/renew subscriptions.

    I repeat - There IS definitely a problem with Xbox 360 marketplace that prevents users from buying content. It needs to be fixed. It started to happen in Jan 2023.
