Deep Rock Galactic on PC its not working

Issue: Windows Update.

Method: 1

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with store troubleshooter. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Windows update.

Refer these steps:

1. Start

2. Type Troubleshoot

3. Select that Troubleshoot

4. Scroll down and select "troubleshoot Windows updates" and "troubleshoot windows store apps."

Method 2: Disable Anti-Virus.

Disable Antivirus and security-related products, if you have any Antivirus installed for (Free) uninstall it, if not then disable the Antivirus, try again to update and check if issue is resolved.

Note: Antivirus software helps protecting your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software
and\or troubleshoot any pertinent issue, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done.

If you are connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to malware attacks

Issue: Windows Store.

Method 1:

Try running the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

Refer these steps:

   2. Type Troubleshoot
   
   3. Select that Troubleshoot
   
   4. Scroll down and select "troubleshoot windows store apps."
   

Method: 2

Reset Store Cache.

a) Press the “Win Logo” + “R”

b) Type: WSReset.exe and press “Enter”.

c) Restart the computer and check.

Also, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app again.

In addition to what @ChiefJoboo said, I would check in the Store under System Requirements and verify the computer your testing it on says that it should work on the device, and that it meets the specifications. Below is the requirements I can see from
the store.

On your hard drive, there is a folder called ''WpSystem'', take ownership of the folder and rename it to ''WpSystem.old'', save and try downloading the game again.

If the problem persists, follow this path, delete everything from the folder, restart your PC and try downloading the game again.

i got it to work by opening the game using this filepath

C:\XboxGames\Deep Rock Galactic\Content\FSD\Binaries\WinGDK
