    Dec. 8th - Call of Duty Cold War asking to re-purchase


    Hi,

    I purchased the cross-gen bundle on launch day and the status is 'Completed' in the payment history.

    This morning the game did an update, following which I receive a message that the game needs to be purchased again! If I click to 'buy' to see what happens, the STORE screen is completely blank.

    The update has stopped us playing the game completely. We have tried a full re-start and no change.

    Please advise? This game has had many faults, but now having paid £64.99, I get nothing.

    That's strange.
    This can be a bit odd, but please try this:

    go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings

    Once you’re inside the Advanced Settings menu, go to DNS settings and select Manual from the list of available options.
    When you get to the next screen, enter 8.8.8.8 in the box associated with the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 in the Secondary DNS box.

    Once the default DNS addresses have been changed, restart your console > re-add your account and see if the issue has been resolved at the next console startup.

    (If that doesn't work use 1.1.1.1 as primary and 1.0.0.1 as secondary)

    If the issue persists and in order to isolate the issue a bit more. Can you try downloading the game on a different console?

    Thanks, that's odd.
    Just to confirm, are you trying to install the game via Microsoft store or do you go to your owned games and apps and you installed the game from there?

    Or... Is this happening no matter how you try to install the game?
