    The first time I launched the game on my pc , it showed a message that "game data can't be synced" it gave me an option to either start it in offline mode or try again, I chose to try again and ever since then the game gets stuck on the syncing data screen.
    I've tried restarting the game multiple times or restarting the xbox app etc but that hasn't fixed anything.
    Other games like COD mw warzone 2 is working fine so its an issue with this game only.

    Since the issue is specific to one game only, let's try to verify and repair its game files.

    Open the Xbox app for Windows.
    In My Library, select the game title.
    Select the More options (…) button and choose Manage.
    Select Files and then Verify and repair.

    If we got the same issue after that, please reset the game itself via Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Find the game then Advance options > Reset.

    You could also refresh your network connection by performing the commands below.

    Type in cmd in Windows search
    Right-click on Command Prompt result and pick Run as administrator
    Once the new window opens, type in the following commands, pressing Enter after each:
    ipconfig /flushdns
    ipconfig /registerdns
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    netsh winsock reset

    Hi lux haven,
    thank you for your contribution. Despite trying troubleshooting steps you have posted above I wasn't able to resolve my issue with games (such as Death Stranding, Paw Patrol or Shenzhen I/O) stuck on "signing in". I'm looking forward to trying new possible solutions as I want to play Death Stranding really badly but wouldn't like to format my system.

    One quite intriguing fact that I have discovered is that No Man's Skay that I've play few years ago on the same PC but with windows 10 (I'm on 11 at the moment) goes straight from "signing in" to "syncing data" without additional pop-up windows asking to approve signing in. Not sure why THIS game in particular is working since I have freshly installed new system and no save data could've survived locally on my drive.

    it is part of gamepass ultimate for console, it is getting launched to the gamepass pc side of things later this year as it was delayed.

    gamepass on PC is just that gamepass, there is no ultimate on pc, if you have ultimate on xbox then you get gamepass on pc.
