    port forwarding can be very tricky, did you set up a Manual IP on the xbox? what error message do you receive when you try to connect?

    Quick few things to try and fix this issue, Could you describe what is happening exactly with your messages, Example it normally gives an error code if so. What error code are you receiving when trying to send messages?. Also are you in the insider program
    at all?.

    I dont know what insider program is. Ok, when i send or receive a message i can see the first few words but when i try to open the message, its blank. My family who sent the message told me also the audio message i sent could not be opened. They have
    control as their xbox is on adult setting and this xbox is on child setting.
