    Deadrising taking forever to update the 13 gb patch?


    My xbox one is taking forever to download the deadrising 13 gb patch. Its literally been a couple hours and its still not complete is it normal or is it my console? Help

    OMG - just rented this from Boomerang, installing as I type and there is a 12 GB update - taking forever! grr, guess I wont be playing anytime soon lol Deadrising taking forever to update the 13 gb patch? :mad: Deadrising taking forever to update the 13 gb patch? :mad:

    Deadrising taking forever to update the 13 gb patch?

    It is a huge update. I am guessing that you have just recently purchased the game? If this is happening when you are trying to install the game for the first time, things might move faster if you install the game while not connected to LIVE, IE offline.
    This way the game can install without the system doing the update at the same time. Once you have installed the game offline, sign in to your account and the update will download and should download faster.

    Yes, the patch is 6 GB. Im a game collector, so its important for me that the game will run on my system forever, even without the day one patches for these games.

    I'm happy for the PS3 players but the fact that it HAS NOT been announced officialy for the xbox leaves me worried. MS is also known for taking forever with updates and patches.
