    Dead to Rights Availability in Canada (Xbox 360 and Xbox One)


    I'm really confused as to why I cannot download Dead to Rights. When I attempt to do so I receive an error message that says the offer isn't available in my region. It doesn't make any sense because the United States of America and Canada are both technically
    the same region (DVD Region 1/ NTSC). Video games sold in both countries are literally identical (except for French or bilingual versions generally sold in Quebec). To my knowledge, this is the
    only Xbox game unavailable in Canada but not in the United States.

    I suppose it's not a big deal. I'm not dying to play the game or anything, just curious.

    New games for co-op

    Great list! Portal 2, Red Dead Redemption and Left 4 Dead 2 are some awesome Xbox 360 titles with co-op available as well on the Xbox One.

    Can you provide an example of any other Xbox game that can be downloaded in USA but not Canada?

    Just had a quick search and it would seem that the game isn't distributed in Canada. Unfortunately there are many games where a distribution licence is not obtained for certain countries.

    I'm aware a game from Japan may not be distributed in the United States, for example. But are there any other games available in the USA and not Canada? In all the years I've been an Xbox user I've never experienced this.

    Can't Purchase At All

    It's kind of weird right now. I can use my account money to make purchases on my Xbox One but I cant make any purchases at all on my Xbox 360. Xbox One shows the amount I have available to spend while the 360 shows that I have nothing on file to make the
    purchase.

    I did contact support for this through the online chat and they said I somehow have Xbox Live Gold for both Canada and the US even though I'm in Canada and setup my account for Canada purchases. Even my consoles region is set on Canada but when I try entering
    a credit card I can't choose Canada, it's stuck on United States. It doesn't make much sense. They basically told me they can't do anything about it, so I've wasted about $70 purchasing Xbox cards to buy DLC.

    Just a note: I owned the Xbox One before owning a 360. Maybe I didn't setup the 360 correctly?
