Dead space disc not working for backwards compatibility on Xbox one?

so I recently bought deadspace one for 360 to play on my Xbox one. I've checked the backwards compatible list multiple times and it is on there. But when I put the disc in I get told it's not a backwards compatible game.

Dead Space 2 issues with backwards compatible

Hello, I am trying to play dead space 2 on my Xbox one, as it is listed in the backwards compatible titles. My system recognizes dead space from disc, and dead space 3 from disc, but it won't install dead space 2 from disc. Please help me, I really want
to replay this without having to dig out my Xbox 360. Disc 1 it doesn't seem to recognize, and disc 2 it tells me the game is not on the compatibility list. Please help, I feel this one is the best of the trilogy.

 

backwards compatibility of xbox 360 games on xbox one on disc

I got loads of xbox 360 games on cd rom disc and they are not working for backwards compatibility even though these games are on the official list of backwards compatible games. What is wrong? I read online that xbox 360 games on disc are also supposed
to be backwards compatible with xbox one.

Sounds like either the disc may be dirty or damaged and the console can't read it, or the console isn't connected to Xbox Live for the console to know it needs to download the game. Are you currently connected to Xbox Live and does the disc have any scratches
or smudges on it?
