Dead Or Alive 5 Last Round Freezing after 3/10/15 Xbox One Update

Hey all,

Upon release, DOA5LR was having a lot of freezing and launch issues on Xbox One until Team Ninja released an update to patch the online freezing issues, which worked. Now Xbox One released an update and now my DOA5LR is back to the original online freezing
issue, actually worse because I cannot even pull up the online menu or select the "throw down" option without it freezing and making restart the game. Anyone having the same issue or any idea how resolve it? I've reinstalled the game disc 3 times and still
have the same issue.

The EXACT same thing is happening to me, and is still happening. You're not alone on this. I haven't got a straight up answer as to why or when it will be patched. I'm getting very fed up. And thats the soft and professional way of putting how I feel. I'm
very close to requesting my purchase price back for the digital copy $39.99 plus tax. One thing that has been in the back of my mind to is why the pre-order info said "Get these five ninja costumes free with your pre order!" but, never mentioned the "Beach
Party", "Aloha Pack", "Last Getaway" and "New Challangers Pack" that is not purchasable for the regular copies. I've read that 76% of the Xbox One players that purchased the game have quit due to that.

Dead or Alive 5 is not on the list of backwards compatible games for Xbox. There is a separate Dead or Alive 5 Last Round that works with the Xbox One consoles but the regular 360 version does not.

I have a disc copy of the game.

Rather annoyingly, instead of installing content from the disc... it immediately starts downloading the content from the marketplace.

But all the people should be there.

If you load up properly from the beginning, and make sure the game sees you are signed in, then the game should acknowledge you own everything and display them.

When I would get invited to a game from the dashboard... it wouldn't have time to read all the content and I'd arrive in my buddy's lobby with only 4 characters.

But if I loaded the game fully first it works fine.

Brilliant game.

Absolutely stupid way to manage the content though.

Hmmm. I did pay 39.99 at gamestop

I also looked at the store tab in the game and the only thing that is available are outfits to buy?

Maybe I should return it for another copy. Thanks for the help though.
